Lavonne Fraser, 70, of Disney, Oklahoma, died in a car crash Thursday afternoon in Delaware County. She was a passenger in the vehicle.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened on State Highway 28, shortly before 4 p.m. Early reports point to a possible medical episode. Troopers say the driver may have had one while on the highway.
The vehicle drifted off the road to the right. It went through a fence and hit a concrete wall. Lavonne died in the crash.
The driver was hurt. Troopers have not said how badly. They also haven’t said what the suspected medical episode was.
Not much is known about Lavonne’s life outside the crash. Her family has not shared details with the public. What we do know is that she was 70, that she lived in Disney, and that people there are now missing her.
For her family and friends, Thursday afternoon changed everything in a few seconds. Many questions remain, and troopers have not answered most of them yet.
The investigation is still open. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not released anything beyond the early findings.
