Christopher Cartwright died early Monday in a crash on West Green Hill Road. He was 19. Two other people got hurt bad in the same wreck.
It started like any regular morning. Then everything flipped in seconds. Christopher was gone. His family and friends got hit with news no one wants to hear.
The two others are in the hospital with serious injuries. Their families sit and wait, hoping they pull through. Doctors are working on them now.
Cops have not said much about how the crash happened. Details stay thin. No clear word on speed, weather, or anything else that might have played a part.
Christopher was young. Nineteen means plans still forming. School or work or just figuring life out. All that stopped cold on that road.
People who knew him talk about the small stuff now. The way he laughed. Times they hung out. Those bits stick harder when someone is gone this young.
The road where it happened looks the same today. But for the folks close to Christopher, nothing feels the same. They carry the empty space he left.
The injured pair face long recovery days. Their people keep hoping for good updates. For Christopher’s side, the hard part is learning to move forward without him.
