Eric Dejuan Lightfoot Jr. faces charges after Sandy Springs police say he forced his girlfriend into prostitution and kept her from leaving. The 29-year-old from Memphis got arrested during a two-day operation that also put three kids into protective custody.

The 21-year-old woman told detectives she met Lightfoot years ago in college. He talked her into dropping out. Money got tight. He pushed her to sell sex to cover bills. She said she did not want to do it but felt she had no choice.

Lightfoot posted ads for her online, talked to the men who answered, and drove her to the meetups. He took half the cash every time. She asked about quitting. He said no. He would not let her get any other job. He held her Social Security card and birth certificate so she could not walk away.

She tried to get help before. In 2024 she told Cobb County police the same story. Nothing happened to him. She told them again that he controlled her papers and she needed them back to escape.

On Oct. 7 detectives ran an undercover sting in Sandy Springs. They called a number from an ad on MegaPersonals.com. She said she was coming in an Uber. Instead she showed up in a black Nissan Altima with Tennessee tags. Lightfoot was driving. Both got taken into custody near Morgan Falls Road.

Police say Lightfoot trafficked her that night between 8 and 10 p.m. He is charged with trafficking a person for sexual servitude. Three other people also got locked up in the same operation. James Brandon faces a pimping charge. Na’Kaya Delzora Jones is charged with prostitution, false statements, and three counts of second-degree cruelty to children. Tamera La’Shay Brasby faces a solicitation charge.

The woman is safe now. The three children are in protective custody. Lightfoot sits in jail waiting for the next court date.
