In the living room, deputies found Carlo Montiel Infantino and Melanie Montiel Infantino. They were both 17. They were twins. They had been stabbed multiple times. They were dead. In the master bathroom, deputies found Ivan Montiel Roa, 63. He was the father of the twins. He was also dead. Detectives believe Roa killed his children and then killed himself. The sheriff’s office is calling it an apparent murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing. The sheriff’s office has not released any more information about what led up to the deaths. They haven’t said if there were prior calls to the home. They haven’t said if there were any signs of trouble. They are keeping the details close as they work the case.
