Kingston Lammar Bradley, an 18-year-old Smyrna resident, now sits in custody facing malice murder charges after investigators uncovered a heavy trail of physical evidence inside his apartment and a parked car. Smyrna police filed the formal murder warrant late Friday evening following a fast-moving investigation that started as a routine missing person call earlier in the week.

According to court records, detectives allege Bradley killed 26-year-old Shanteria Mosley inside his Valley Parkway apartment sometime between Wednesday morning and Wednesday night. Police originally arrived at the complex around 8:15 p.m. after Mosley’s relatives tracked her missing phone to the lot and spotted her car parked outside.

Witnesses told police they saw Bradley step out of his apartment carrying a large container wrapped in a cloth bag. When Bradley realized neighbors and relatives were watching him, he dropped the container onto a dirt walkway and ran back toward his unit. Relatives who opened the dropped container found a dismembered torso with multiple stab wounds and lacerations.

Smyrna police obtained an emergency search warrant and swept Bradley’s unit shortly after the discovery. Inside the apartment, investigators reported finding heavy bloodstains on multiple surfaces consistent with a violent killing and dismemberment. Officers also recovered a large saw covered in blood, alongside a mop bucket filled with bleach water and a carpet cleaner.

Officers arrested Bradley near the complex and initially charged him with concealing the death of another person. On Friday evening, detectives expanded their search to a vehicle linked to the crime scene. Inside the trunk of the car, officers found several garbage bags stretched tightly around heavy contents.

Detectives called in the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office before opening the bags. Medical examiner personnel opened the trash bags at the scene and confirmed they contained additional dismembered body parts. Police confirmed the remains belonged to Mosley and upgraded Bradley’s primary charge to malice murder.

App delivery records show Mosley’s DoorDash account had no active delivery orders to the Valley Parkway complex on the day she disappeared, leaving detectives working to figure out how the victim and suspect knew each other. Bradley remains held without bond in the Cobb County jail as prosecutors review the evidence gathered from the scene.
