A quiet weekend night turned into a tragic scene along one of Montgomery’s main traffic corridors when a motorcycle ride ended in a fatal single-vehicle crash.

Montgomery Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Twain Curve and Eastern Boulevard at 12:24 a.m. Saturday. The busy stretch of highway, typically packed with daytime commuter traffic, was clear when dispatchers dispatched emergency units to the report.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a red 2023 Harley-Davidson Street Glide resting on its side in the roadway. Rider TaKaury Palmore was located nearby, suffering from severe physical trauma resulting from the crash.

Montgomery fire medics immediately administered emergency aid on site before transporting Palmore to a local hospital. Despite the best efforts of trauma doctors, Palmore succumbed to his injuries at the facility.

Accident reconstruction officers closed off portions of Eastern Boulevard overnight to map out the scene, inspect the motorcycle, and search for physical clues. Preliminary investigation results confirm that no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

The incident underscores the hazards associated with late-night motorcycle operation, even on well-lit urban roads. Palmore was riding a heavy-duty 2023 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, a high-powered machine popular among cruiser enthusiasts across the region.

Traffic investigators are working to figure out whether mechanical issues, road conditions, or sudden maneuvers contributed to the loss of control along Twain Curve. Authorities have not yet indicated if speed was a determining factor.

Police are asking anyone who was driving near Eastern Boulevard around midnight Saturday or who may have seen the red Harley before the crash to contact Montgomery investigators.
