Case Logston managed to walk away from a violent car crash on Friday afternoon, but his focus remained on the young woman beside him. The wreck happened around 5 p.m. and sent his girlfriend, Ceeli Smith, to an emergency trauma center.
Paramedics arrived on scene and recognized the severity of Smith’s condition right away. They summoned a CareFlight helicopter to transport her directly to a medical center in the Dallas area.

Logston took a beating in the crash, suffering heavy bruises and emotional shock. Family members were relieved to see him standing and walking, a small bright spot in a grim situation.
At the hospital, medical staff evaluated Smith’s injuries. Tests confirmed roughly eight fractures in her back and pelvis, alongside widespread bruising across her body.
The news hit both families hard when the initial emergency calls went out. Learning that Smith was being flown by helicopter to Dallas created hours of intense panic and worry.
By Saturday, community members began rallying around the couple. Local friends and neighbors shared messages, gathered support, and promised to stick by the families throughout the recovery process.
Both Logston and Smith have a long healing process ahead of them. Family members are keeping their focus strictly on daily rest, medical care, and steady progress.
